An important part of the technical programs at past PEDG Symposia have been tutorials, and proposals are invited for technical and professional education tutorials at PEDG 2018. The tutorials may be on topics ranging from new and advanced concepts to practical applications and techniques in power electronics for distributed generation.

Please click here for a list of symposium tracks and themes for PEDG 2018. Prospective presenters are invited to submit their proposals for tutorials.

The proposals are expected to contain: 

  1. Contact information for all the presenters and identification of the corresponding author
  2. An abstract no more than 250 words
  3. A digest of the tutorial content limited to 5 pages in single column double spaced format
  4. Short biography (150 words) of each presenter.

The proposals must follow the below requirements:

  1. Be in the form of a single PDF file
  2. Submitted via email to
  3. All submitted proposals will be reviewed by the symposium program committee and five to six tutorials are expected to be selected
  4. Each selected tutorial may have a maximum of three presenters but only one will be the corresponding presenter.
  5. All presenters are required to be present in person at the tutorial.
  6. Each tutorial will have a duration of two hours.
  7. Each selected tutorial will receive one complimentary conference registration and may be utilized by one of the presenters, if the tutorial will be offered by multiple presenters.
